The Irish Bus!

Speaking of March 16th!   I want to let you know there's still room for about 10 people on the March 16th St Patricks Day bus to the cities!   The O'Chmielewski's have done a great job organizing this, (this year and last year!).... come on out and have some fun!

If you're not currently scheduled on board, get on board!  If you are on board, bring some friends!  (make sure you drop an email to Paul & Annette at  sixchms@charter.net  to reserve your space!

The cost $25 per person, and includes the ride, beer/pop/water/snacks on the bus and of course some great entertainment. Maybe Annette will dance the Irish Jig!!
The schedule will be something like the following but maybe we'll swap in a different pub:
10:00AM Preloading... come to the Bears Den for a tune up!
11:00AM Board the bus at Byron MP/Bear's Den
12:30PM Arrive St. Paul Liffey Irish Pub
Walk 1 block to Patrick McGovern's
2:30PM Bus leaves McGovern's for Billy's
4:00PM Bus leaves Billy's for O'Gara's
6:30PM Bus leaves O'Gara's for Byron
8:00PM Bus arrives back in Byron

Tuesday 6:15pm:  Snowshoe!  Possibly the last one of the winter!   Meet at the BP in Marion and caravan out to Bill Barnacle's park for some fantastic snowshoeing in the daylight.   If you've never heard of Bill Barnacle, check this one out it is truly a beautiful place.

Here's what it looks like in the summer... and it appears to offer a workout!

Wednesday 5:30pm:  The speed sessions continue, and with race season upon us, IT'S TIME PEOPLE!    Let's get out to the track and turn the speed on!  Meet at the RCTC indoor track.  Please wear one pair of shoes in, and change into your running shoes once inside.   As you can see below, you often find the hotties on the track!

Thursday 6pm:  Team R.E.D. returns to Brothers Bar & Grill!  It was a well attended night last time (and there's a purple house nearby that might have beer available).      Please park in back of the bar, as that keeps the prime-time parking available for people who might otherwise think the bar is full at 6pm... yet it's not, as we're off on a run.   A couple of distances will be offered, in the areas of 3, 4 or 6 miles.

The Byron Bears are taking on the PEM Bulldogs for a chance to advance to State in boys basketball!  If you attend the game, be sure to join us at Brothers Post game!  -- we have members from PEM and Byron.. so the fun can continue!

See the pic below for half the view of last time at Brothers...
