Group running opportunities! - And High School Section Track Championship Week! - And Med City Marathon Weekend!

Great job to everyone involved in the Med City Marathon weekend. The weather was nothing short of brutal! - I, along with many of you, limiting the event to a half marathon as the longest distance was a great decision.  - Thank you to all the TerraLoco Pacers, volunteers along the way, Kasey and Nite Shift and all the Beer pour'ers!

Best wishes to all the area runners and coaches as they prepare for their High School Section Championships this week. It's a big week for those aspiring to reach the State Track meet!

Best wishes for those preparing for Chester Woods and Kettle Morraine as well!  It's a super loaded weekend, have fun!

Wendy has created a Sign Up page for anyone interested in home hosting! - Remember, for the most part, any 2nd or 4th Thursday are up for grabs.  Check out the link and let's visit each others homes! It's always a pretty relaxing environment when we have these home host get togethers!
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b054ea4a628a4f49-home

I finally grabbed a picture of two members who have been with us for a bit, but they finally held a press conference.  This is a shot of us at the Free Agent signing press conference held at the Eagles Club!

Another Free Agent, Shannon joined us during the Med City marathon expo! Shannon is a strong runner who snuck past me during the TC 10 Miler a year ago.

Additionally, we had two new members that we didn't get pictures. Soon I'll have pictures of Patrick Johnston and Tom Kluczny (yes, that's Megans Tom!)

Here are the week's group opportunities...

Many of you have had a chance to ride the St Patrick's celebration bus in the past, and if you been on board, you know it's fun! - If you haven't, now is your chance! Typically we've ridden in conjunction with St Pauls Lucky Palooza celebration, but this year we'll ride on St Patrick's day, as March 17 falls on a Saturday,

Check out the details from Paul & Annette below..

O'Friends,
It's that time of year again!  Time to get your green on for another bus trip up to St. Paul to celebrate St. Patrick's Day which falls on a Saturday this year!  We'll go pub hopping on Saturday, March 17.  For some odd reason they're doing the Lucky Palooza party on 7th St. the week before, but we're going for the real deal on the 17th.  We have a motor coach reserved for the first 45 people to sign up.

This year we're going to try a BYOB and lower the bus cost to $20 per person.  So team up on coolers or we'll have cooler space and ice if people want to go the communal cooler route.

We'll hit some of our old favorites like Sweeney's, Billy's, O'Gara's, The Liffey, etc..

We'll leave from Somerby (new location) around noon and be back before 9.

Help us get the word out and invite your friends and relatives.  All are welcome.

Please respond asap and let us know how many spots you'd like to reserve.  You can make your checks out to either one of us.

Let us know if you have any questions.

We're looking forward to another fun day!!
