Volunteer Opportunity! - The Rochester Track Club All-Comers Meets continue on Tuesday at John Marshall High School track. Gwen & Ann do great work with this event, but they can use more help! If you'd like to volunteer, please email Gwen at gwenjacobson @charter.net - Things get underway at 6pm, but of course, we'd love for you to arrive a little early to get your job assignment!

Here's what we have going on the next few days -
- Tuesday 6:15pm: The Tuesday Trail crew is heading to Quarry Hill to log 5 miles or so, while dodging the ghosts of days gone by! Meet at the parking lot near the tennis courts at the end of 9th St NE - a map below may help you find the parking. There will be some parking lot grilling post workout, bring something for the grill if you like!
- Tuesday 10pm: The Tuesday Night Night crew is at it again! If you're up for some fun in the dark, meet at the Douglas Trail Head along Valley High Road in Rochester. Bring a headlamp, or run in the dark if you dare!
- Wednesday 6pm: TerraLoco is hosting a $5 charity 5K for the Special Olympics - Rochester Flyers Track Team! - This is an organization Team R.E.D. is supporting through this years Beer Mile as well, so I suggest in lieu of a track workout, we head to TerraLoco and crank a 5K! - This is also the kick-off for their Olympic Challenge - of which Team R.E.D. is considered an Olympic Village Partner.
- If you're not familiar with the challenge - essentially, you'll track your mileage, or time spent working out, and log points. Below is a chart that shows how the points work - and you may need to click on it to enlarge it and read it!
- For anyone who would still prefer a track workout - the track in Byron is available.
- Thursday 6pm: Team R.E.D. has a home host! - Thanks to the Paradise family for inviting us to their place at 355 Carlisle Lane NW, Rochester. Our hosts are providing Burgers, Brats & Beer - Bring a dish to pass and anything else you may want to drink. Bring a swimsuit as well! Also, the good news is.. every run is downhill from their house!
- We're aware this is a 1st Thursday and typically we'd be at the Bears Den, but fear not, we'll be at the Bears Den the next two Thursdays! - Including the Beer Mile!
