Weekend stuff:Saturday 7am: Marathon training run from the RAC. This is a great group run to get those long miles in with support of water, gatorade and such. This will is scheduled for 16 miles, but you can always adjust that. (in fact, a few are starting at 6am to build on it!).
Sunday 7:30am: Off Season Striders take off from Panera South South. From the chatter I see, looks like anything from 6-12 miles.
Next Week's Stuff:
Monday (Almost anytime): Diane is hosting a Ladies ONLY Pool Party at 355 Carlisle Lane NW Rochester. (sounds fun to me!)
- Ladies of Team RED are welcome to come any time during the day or after work. If they want to bring a dish/snack to share they can. Bring their drink of choice and their swimsuit.
Monday 6pm: The Maniacs are hosting a co-ed event! Come on out to Wild Bill's, located at 300 Hwy 52 North (the old TGIF's near Miracle Mile). We'll set out for a run or walk before rolling into Wild Bill's for a $5 burger! Hard to say what the odds are that we'll eventually crash that pool party (well, it's not that hard to say... bring your swim suits! We're crashing!)
Tuesday 6pm: The trail run heads to Barnacle Bill's State Woodland once again! From all reports, this is a great space to run in! Gather at 6pm at the BP in Marion and carpool from there.
Wednesday Notes:
- I'm not planning to schedule a Progressive run this week, due to the Torch Light 5K on Wednesday evening.
- The Byron Track is unavailable for a track workout this coming week as it completes the resurfacing project.
- What does this mean to you? Means you should register for the Torchlight 5K and get on board with the carpool leaving Walmart parking lot at 4:30pm Wednesday! Register here.. http://www.torchlight5k.com/pagwoo262@gmail.come/show/502315-minneapolis and drop Tom W a note about carpool. You can reach him at twoo262@gmail.com
Thursday 6pm: Team R.E.D. is back at the Bears Den in Byron! We'll have bunches of gift cards to give out.. as we once again forgot to do it last week.. dog gone! Routes will be in the range of 3, 4 and 6 miles.
