Whew!

You know it's hot .. when this happens...

Despite the heat.. you are all rockin'!

  • Tuesday's trail run was a hit by all reports.   Special thanks to Dan & Linda for hosting!
  • Wednesday morning progressive run had Tom O, Adam W, Alan E, Shane N and Ann N. out with some great cross wind.
  • Wednesday evenings track run had Tom W., Ann N, Dan M, Jill, Marv, Mike N, Lori and Tom O'.  Lots of hydration.   Thanks Charro for unlocking the track for us ! (this track is typically open, but still in the final touches of a resurface project).

Here's some things going on ...

  • Thursday 6pm:  It's time to bring out your inner cowboy or cowgirl!  It's a Western theme of Save A Horse! Dress appropriately for the theme and come on out to Jill & Adam's home at 1286 Brookfield Ct NE in Byron.   Our hosts are providing routes to run or walk, along with hot dogs/brats on the grill, baked beans, salad, chips and salsa, Sangria, Healthy Margarita & Water.  You can bring a desert, or a dish to pass if you like.  Also, BYOB if you'd like something else to drink.
  • Saturday 7am:   Marathon Training runs are up and at 'em for the fall season.   This week's dash is 10'ish miles and you'll find the route at the following link.   http://runningrochester.blogspot.com/
  • Sunday 7:30am:   Off Season Striders are heading out for some fun from Dunn Brothers North in Rochester, expect between 6-10 miles (varies based on what people say they want to run that morning.)
