- Saturday 7am: The Marathon & Half Marathon Training runs continue from the RAC. Great if you're looking for miles, and there is support along the way providing gatorade and snacks. This week's marathon route is 15.25 miles.
- Saturday 8am: Byron Good Neighbor Days 5K and 2.5K. Race Day registration is available at the middle school in Byron.
- This Sunday Afternoon... The Byron Good Neighbor Days parade takes place and Team R.E.D. is the 2nd entry following the big dogs, like cop cars, honor guard and the like.. we are fortunate to be in such a great spot! Parade day will break down something like this... and every piece is optional, or take it all in. Please drop us an email if you're planning to take part in any portion.. byron.teamred@gmail.com
- Starting at 12-noon... O'Leary's are hosting a pre-parade party. They are located at 805 1st Ave NW in Byron and will have Sloppy Joes and Cupcakes available. Please bring your own beverage and something to share if you like. We'll chat up our parade plan during this party.
- 2pm... some portion of this party needs to move to the Middle school to set up a registration table for kids to run the Free 1-Mile on the parade Route.
- 2:30pm... the Free kids run... medals provided via the Melby Kids Mile thanks to agreement with the Rochester Track Club.
- 3pm... Parade starts... we'll walk in it, toss candy, maybe a few beer mile bottle openers.
- After.... I'm good with at the O'Leary's! I haven't asked Wendy yet, let's see how long before she reads the blog to know that you might be coming over! oh, wait.. bad idea, I will bring it up with her first.. don't come unless we say "Ok"
- Thursday at 6pm: We'll be at the Ryans home in Rochester for a home host night! I love home hosts! Details on that evening to follow, but plan to make it!
