Bears Den Thursday!

Hey!  I've been slow posting.. lots of excuses!  So I'll spare you the details...

Please welcome our newest member!  Jill Misgen joined us!  She was at the RCTC track workout last night and was welcomed to the Team!

By the way.. the track was a bit tied up with a basketball tournament, but the officials in charge did let us on, eventually, and we enjoyed a great workout.   Below, you'll find some pics, followed by a list of what the remainder of the week has to offer!   Lots of opportunity!

Weekend Note:   Dan Strain is organizing a fun event, a few of them did this last year as well.  Below are the details from Dan.

Participate in the second annual Two Day Marathon fun run (no fee)
It kicks off in conjunction with the OSS group run at 8 am Sat Jan 1 (I’m not sure how long the run is but we will add enough to make it 13.1 miles
Then on Sunday Jan 2 we will start from my house 7:30 am – down around silver lake and back, 13.1 miles. We will be able to log 26.2 miles by day two of 2011!
I ran the route on Monday and it was clear all the way, the weather looks cold for this weekend but look on the bright side the forecast is calling for 10 degrees warmer than last year on Jan 1st and 2nd. (it was 10 below on the inaugural of this run.)

There will be brunch after the run at my house.

You'll find the route for the second leg of this two day event on Dan's Blog at runningrochester.blogspot.com
His link can also be found on the right hand side of the blog with several others.
