Prayers for Texas

I'd like to pause a moment to be thankful for the weather we have in Minnesota this week, and send prayers to all those in the track of such devastation throughout Texas. Prayers are extended to all of you who have family, friends or co-workers in the path of this storm. Very scary.

With that said.. we are very lucky this week, and we'll have some great group opportunities to continue to become better runners, walkers and overall, more fit!

Monday 6pm:  Monday Maniacs are gathering at WildWood Bar & Grill.  Join the fun, as this location provides great access to paved trails in the network of Rochester great system. Don't forget to stop back in to Wildwood for the social time!
Tuesday 6:20pm: The Tuesday Trail Crew is heading to Bronks Plowline near Winona.. it's an easy drive, and provides a fun space to get active!  You can hike, you can run.. but you for sure want to stay for the fun.  Bring your favorite beverage to share, others will do the same!
Tuesday 9pm:  The Night Owls love howling at the moon! Join the crew at the trailhead parking lot of Douglas Trail - located along Valley High, next to IBM - this bunch is always fun, and the parking lot party never has to stop, unless it has to stop.
Wednesday 6pm:  The Speed session continues but this week it moves to Soldiers Field in Rochester.  Join the quick turnover, and work on making yourself faster! - There is no minimum speed to start, each athlete does what they can! - Arrive early to warmup, as the session starts at 6pm promptly.
Thursday 6pm:  Team R.E.D. is back at our original host... The Bears Den in Byron is the site!  We'll get out for routes of 3, 4 or 6 miles - really, with all group opportunities you can choose to run or walk, and you can choose any distance! - We simply suggest distances to get everyone back to the social! - Meeting others is a great part of being involved!

Below are a couple of pics I lifted from Woo's Facebook so you can see what good so many of our members are doing.. The TerraLoco Pace team is fantastic and they work many events!  - this is not the entire pace team, but man.. they are a dedicated bunch!

And here.. see the daughter of Brian & Angela getting after her first Solo 5K!  Go Megan!
