Great Turnout!

An excellent turnout for the Peterson's home host night - Thanks so much for having us!  The weather held off and provided a great night for a walk or run, along with some back deck fun!

The Healthy Human Race is just 8 days way! - There's still time to register and/or volunteer!  It takes a lot of people to put on a quality race, and any help you can provide is very much appreciated!

Here's a look at the weekend and into next week...

Saturday 7am:  The long run from the RAC is climbing in mileage!  This week it's a 19 mile route for marathoners and about 9 miles for half marathoners.  This is a great way to get your miles, with volunteer support along the way! - Bring $1 to help offset cost of aid station supplies.
Saturday 8am:  It's Western Days in Chatfield.  Join the 10K at 8am and/or the 2 mile at 9:30am!  More details at http://rochestertrackclub.com/main.asp?SectionID=3&SubSectionID=28&ArticleID=885
Saturday 8am:  Kasson holds it's annual Festival in the Park - Join the 5K or 1 Mile Fun run and enjoy the day!  More details at http://rochestertrackclub.com/main.asp?SectionID=3&SubSectionID=28&ArticleID=880
Sunday 8am: The Off Season Striders will find themselves out and about.  I haven't seen the location yet, but will update when I do.
Monday 6pm:  Monday Maniacs are heading to Cowboy Jacks.  Nothing says fun run like peanuts in a shell post run!  There are a lot of paces among the group, come join us!
Monday 6pm:  TerraLoco continues it's $5 5K charity series.  I can't stress enough what a good thing this is for the community! They make impact each week, and give people a place to come together.
Tuesday 6:15pm:  The Tuesday Trail crew heads to Chester Woods... home of the famous Mason Run @ Chester Woods!  Gather at the parking lot near the Beach House.  Come out for a run or hike on the great trails and then we'll settle into a picnic area for a fire and beverages (bring your own fire - Dan will supply the fire).
Wednesday 6pm:  It's time for speed! Get on the track in Byron and go! No matter what your current pace, this workout will make you stronger and faster. The track is located behind the Byron Middle School at 601 4th St NW.
Thursday 6pm:  Team R.E.D. heads to the Bears Den in Byron.  Come out for a run or walk at the original home of Team R.E.D. - well, it would be the original home, but the Den did move.  At any rate, join us for routes of 3,4 or 6 miles and come back for the social.
