Time to catch up!

Lots of details to catch up on!

Monday 6pm: Monday Maniacs are heading to Cowboy Jacks located at 1625 South Broadway in Rochester.  It's a good location for some different routes.   Join us to run or walk, and then come back to enjoy the social portion of the night!
Tuesday 6pm:  TerraLoco is continuing their 5K charity run series.  Get to TerraLoco and support them, as well as their community spirit!  Bring a $5 donation and have some fun!
Tuesday 6:15pm:  The Trail running crew is heading to Gamehaven Scout camp to explore the trails.  This is always a fun place to run!  - the parking is a bit odd this week, so stay tuned for an update where to meet the crew.
Wednesday 6pm:  Currently there is no track workout scheduled, but the Byron Track is available if someone wants to lead a workout.  If so, let me know and I'll publish that. Or if you'd rather take the lead on any other type of group run for Wednesday let me know.
Thursday 6pm:  The Bears Den in Byron is the gathering place for Team R.E.D.  - Let's plan on a fun 3, 4 or 6 miles!  - Running or walking is awesome!  Come back to the Den post workout.  See you there!

Here's a reminder.. the price of the Nearly Naked event goes up on by 10/15... get registered now!

Details of the bus and all below..  you do not need to be a member of Team R.E.D. to join us, however, you do need to register for the event under Team RED and send me an email at byron.teamred@gmail.com to reserve your spot on the bus.

The Nearly Naked 5K Registration is ready and the Charter Bus is booked!  *Note: this event is in place of Living History Farms as many of you have requested a new bus destination... and Wendy found this!  -- We'll give it a go this year, and see what people think!

The Nearly Naked 5K is a race in which you will wear layers of clothing, and take some off at each mile marker, ending Nearly Naked! - but not worries, they will get you quickly covered in a plush robe at the finish line!   What a great way to help support a clothing drive.

  • Visit http://www.runwalk.events/EventInformation.asp?eID=13695 to register for the Nov 14th Nearly Naked 5K.
  • Use the Team Red discount code to save $5 -  the code is Team Red (spelled just like that)
  • When you register look for Team R.E.D., we just set up the team tonight, so if you don't see it on the drop down list, then Type it in the Box as Team R.E.D. (spelled just like that).
  • Once you've registered, send me an email stating "I registered and I want on the bus!"

Cost:  Approx 70-75 bucks for race and bus ride if you register by 10/15 (then it goes up $5).
Bus Leaves/Returns When?:  It's a 12-hour trip.   We'll depart Byron at 6am ... make a stop for more people in Rochester then head east!  - if we get any takers from the Winona area, we'll pick them up along I-90... the more the merrier!  We should return at 6pm.
Free Beer?   Yes! Team R.E.D. will provide the beer!
